What is NFT Burning?
Burning an NFT permanently disables it from individual ownership. A burned NFT:
- Cannot be withdrawn, transferred, purchased, or sold.
- Remains recorded on the blockchain, as nothing can be permanently deleted from it.
The process of burning effectively renders the NFT inactive by sending it to an inaccessible "burn address."
Steps to Burn an NFT

- Go to Immutable Tools.
- Select the following options:
- Network: Mainnet

- If the details are correct, the NFT will be removed from your wallet and sent to the burn address.
Notes

- Once an NFT is burned, the action is irreversible.
