General Troubleshooting Steps
1. Backup First
⚠️ Important: Before making changes, ensure you back up your wallet’s seed/recovery phrases and passwords.
2. Clear Cache and Cookies
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
- Restart your browser.
3. Set Wallet to Ethereum Mainnet
- Ensure your wallet is on Ethereum Mainnet and disable ad blocker extensions.
4. Turn Off Other Extensions
- Disable all other browser extensions except the wallet you want to connect.
5. Update Your Browser
- Ensure you’re using the latest version of your browser.
6. Try a Different Browser
- Use browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Brave.
7. Reinstall Your Wallet Extension
- As a last resort, uninstall and reinstall your wallet extension.

- If you encounter a "Change Network" error even on Ethereum Mainnet and your Metamask version is newer than 12.1.0:

Coinbase or Phantom Wallet Conflicts with MetaMask
- Disable the Coinbase or Phantom wallet extension before connecting MetaMask.
