Hardware wallets

While Immutable provides the option to connect hardware wallets through MetaMask, we do not officially support hardware wallets. Learn more about setting up hardware wallets with MetaMask.

A number of hardware wallets are known to cause issues when used with the Immutable platform. Here is a non-exhaustive list of wallets known to experience problems:

• GridPlus Lattice1: You must be upgraded to firmware v0.12.0 for your Immutable X Key to be generated correctly. Otherwise, the key that is created may not be able to access your assets.
• Keystone Wallet: Known to cause problems generating keys non-deterministically
• D'Cent Wallet: Known to cause problems generating keys non-deterministically

Magic

An easy sign-up and login wallet that allows users to create and manage their wallet with just their email. Note that this wallet does not work if the browser is in incognito mode.

• ⚠️ The Magic integration for Immutable is designed to work with Immutable X Link and should only be used on platforms that support both Magic integration and connected to Immutable. All assets are controlled by the user and can be moved to other wallets as desired.
