Common Scenarios for Deleting Your Immutable Passport Account
There are several scenarios where you may decide to delete your Immutable Passport account, including:
- Compromised Login: Your associated email or social login has been compromised.
- Unauthorized Transactions: You notice transactions from your wallet that you did not perform.
- Missing Assets: Your assets are missing from your wallet.
- Unnecessary Wallets: You have additional wallets that you no longer need.
- Privacy Concerns: You want your email and account data completely removed from the platform.
Important: Once you delete your Passport account, the associated wallet and all assets within it will become irrecoverable. Be sure to transfer all assets you wish to keep before initiating the account deletion process.
How to Move Your Assets Before Deleting Your Account
To transfer your assets from Passport L2 to another wallet, follow these steps:
- Go to a marketplace, such as TokenTrove, one of our partner platforms.
- Provide the destination wallet address where you'd like to transfer your assets.
- After confirming that all assets have been successfully transferred from your Passport wallet, you can proceed with the account deletion request.
How to Delete Your Immutable Passport Account
If you're ready to delete your Passport account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email from the address associated with your Passport account to:
- In the subject line, use: Passport Account Deletion Request.
- We will verify your ownership of the associated email address and begin the deletion process.
Once the account deletion process is complete, you will no longer have access to your Passport wallet and all assets in it will be permanently lost.
