Migrating to Passport – Immutable

You can migrate to Passport using one of the following methods:
1️⃣ Linking an External Wallet – Connect an existing wallet to view your assets in Passport.
2️⃣ Importing Collectibles – Transfer your collectibles directly into Passport.

1️⃣ Linking an External Wallet

If you have collectibles in an external wallet (e.g., MetaMask) and want to view and play with them in Passport-enabled games, follow these simple steps.
⚠️ Note that linked collectibles will be view-only, and to craft or trade them, you'll need to import them into your Passport wallet.

Steps to Link an External Wallet

Navigate to External Wallets
- Go to the External Wallets section.
Click "Link a Wallet"
- Select the option to Link a Wallet.
Choose Your External Wallet
- Pick the external wallet you'd like to link (e.g., MetaMask).
Complete the Prompts
- Follow the prompts to securely connect your external wallet to your Passport wallet.

2️⃣ Importing Collectibles

What Does Importing Mean?

Importing involves transferring collectibles from external wallets into your Passport wallet.

⚠️ Important Note:

Gas-Free Transfers: For games on Immutable X (e.g., Gods Unchained, Illuvium).
Gas Fees Apply: For games on Immutable zkEVM (e.g., Guild of Guardians, Shardbound). Ensure you have IMX tokens to cover the gas fees.

Steps to Import Collectibles

Go to your Inventory page and click Import in the top-right corner.
Sign in to the external wallet you want to import from (e.g., MetaMask).
Connect your external wallet to your Passport wallet.
Choose the collectibles to import (single or multiple collections). For example, import your Dragon Knight from Hunters On Chain!
Complete the prompts to finalize the transfer.
