Hardware Wallets

Immutable provides the option to connect hardware wallets via MetaMask; however, please note that we do not officially support hardware wallets. You can learn more about setting up hardware wallets with MetaMask here.

Certain hardware wallets are known to encounter issues when used with the Immutable platform. Below is a non-exhaustive list of wallets and their associated problems:

• GridPlus Lattice1: Ensure your device is upgraded to firmware version v0.12.0. Without this update, your Immutable X key may not generate correctly, potentially preventing access to your assets.
• Keystone Wallet: Known for issues with generating keys non-deterministically.
• D'Cent Wallet: Similarly, this wallet may also experience problems with non-deterministic key generation.

If you're using a hardware wallet, we recommend exercising caution and verifying compatibility before proceeding.
