If your token transaction has been paused during the transfer from Immutable zkEVM to Ethereum, it’s typically due to one of the following reasons.
Reasons for Paused Transactions
1. Exceeding Withdrawal Volume Limits
- Immutable zkEVM sets withdrawal volume limits to ensure network stability.
- If the total withdrawal volume exceeds a threshold, all withdrawals for that specified token may be paused temporarily.
2. Lack of Withdrawal Thresholds
- If a withdrawal threshold for that token hasn't been set, the system will pause withdrawals until it's configured.
3. High Network Demand
- During periods of high network activity, withdrawals may be paused to prevent congestion and ensure smooth processing.
4. Token-Specific Batching Process
- Token withdrawals are processed in batches.
- If the batch is full or delayed, new transactions may be paused until the current batch is processed.
How Paused Transactions Are Managed
24-Hour Delay
- When a transaction is paused, it typically takes up to 24 hours to be processed.
- This time frame allows the network to manage volume and smooth out any delays.
Manual Claiming
- After the 24-hour window, users need to manually claim their funds on Ethereum.
Tracking Your Transaction
How to Track Paused Transactions:
-
Check Pending Transactions
- Click the Rocket icon in the Immutable Toolkit Bridge to check on pending transactions.
-
Claim Your Funds
- Click Proceed to claim your funds.
During the Claim Process
-
Gas Fees:
- Any wallet can pay the gas fees for the transaction.
-
Destination Wallet:
- The destination wallet address for the withdrawal remains unchanged.
-
Sufficient ETH for Gas Fees:
- If your wallet lacks sufficient ETH for gas fees, you can connect another wallet to cover the cost.
