The Bridge Widget simplifies moving tokens between L1 Ethereum and L2 Immutable zkEVM. You can deposit funds from MetaMask to Passport, and vice versa.
Before You Begin
⚠️ Set up zkEVM in MetaMask
- If you're using MetaMask, ensure you’ve added the zkEVM network to your wallet.
Step-by-Step Guide to Bridging Tokens
Step 1: Open the Bridge Tool
- Navigate to the Ethereum L1 Bridge in the Immutable Toolkit.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallets
- Connect your source wallet (e.g., Ethereum wallet).

Connect your destination wallet (e.g., Immutable Passport zkEVM wallet).
- Example: Bridging IMX from Ethereum to Immutable zkEVM.
Step 3: Select Token and Amount
- Choose the token you want to bridge (e.g., IMX).
- Enter the amount to transfer.
Step 4: Review and Confirm Transaction
- Verify the transaction details to ensure accuracy.
- Once satisfied, click Confirm Move.
Step 5: Approve the Spending Cap
- Approve the ERC20 spending cap in your source wallet to authorize the token transfer.
Step 6: Approve the Transaction
- Confirm the transaction in your source wallet.
Monitoring Your Transaction

- Bridging from Ethereum takes approximately 20 minutes.

- Go to the Bridge Tool and click the rocket icon to view the progress.
- Monitor both the source and destination wallet addresses for updates.
