LayerSwap makes it easy to transfer funds directly from a supported centralized exchange (CEX) to Immutable X or zkEVM. Follow these steps for a smooth transfer process.
Before You Begin

- Allow pop-ups to ensure all wallet prompts are displayed.
Step-by-Step Guide to Transferring Funds
Step 1: Open the CEX Deposit Tool
- Navigate to Immutable Toolkit - CEX Deposit.
- Connect your destination wallet (e.g., Passport wallet on Immutable zkEVM).
Step 2: Select Your Source CEX
- Choose the centralized exchange (CEX) from which you’ll be transferring funds.
- Example: Coinbase.
Step 3: Choose Token, Amount, and Withdrawal Network
- Specify the amount of tokens you want to transfer (e.g., ETH, USDC).
- Select the withdrawal network to use.
Step 4: Confirm Your Details
- Double-check the token, amount, and destination wallet details.
- Once confirmed, click Swap Now.
Step 5: Copy the Generated Deposit Address
- LayerSwap will generate a unique Deposit Address for your transaction.
- Make a note of this address and the exact token amount you need to send.
Step 6: Transfer Funds from Your CEX Account
- Log in to your CEX account.
- Go to the withdrawal section.
- Enter the Deposit Address, network, and exact token amount noted earlier.
Step 7: Monitor Your Transaction
- Return to Immutable Toolkit - CEX Deposit to track the status of your transaction.
- Transactions typically take a few minutes to process.
Step 8: Verify Your Wallet Balance
- Once the transfer is complete, check your wallet balance under Balances in the Immutable Toolkit.
