Common Scenarios Where a User Would Delete Their Passport Account
You may encounter scenarios where you want to delete your passport account, such as:
You associated email or social login is compromised
You have transactions from your wallet that you did not perform
Your assets are missing from your wallet
You have additional wallets that you don’t need anymore
You want data around your email and account removed from the platform
Please note that upon deletion of you account, the associated wallet and all assets inside of it will become unrecoverable. Make sure to transfer all existing assets that you want to keep before submitting a Passport deletion request.
I have assets I want to move out so I can delete my account, how can I do that?
You can transfer all of your assets from Passport L2 to another wallet by going to a marketplace such as TokenTrove, one of our partners. You will need to provide the destination wallet to receive your assets. After confirming that all of your assets have been transferred from your Passport wallet, you can then request an account deletion by following the steps below.
I want to delete my Passport account, how can I do that?
To start the process of deleting your Passport account, please start by sending an email from the address associated with your Passport account to: passport-privacy@immutable.com with a subject of Passport Account Deletion Request . From there we can verify your ownership of the associated email address and we can start the process of your Passport account deletion.
